His Majesty 2012

- Traditional Scotch Ale -

Her Majesty is a warming strong ale, now in its third unique incarnation, that we release each year as the days shorten. This year's model is a dark ale that brings together a mixture of rich British and German malts, a pinch of fruit and earthiness from its East Kent hops, a little secret something for complexity, and a slow cool fermentation to highlight the purity of the ingredients.
We dedicate this ale to all mums - yours and ours - whether they live next door, on the other side of the world, or are no longer with us. The beer was brewed, fermented and conditioned to optimum ripeness by our friends at Invercargill Brewery before being magically trapped in this bottle. Release it now, or save it for later, and enjoy responsibly along with the laughter of your best friends. Her Majesty is a warming strong ale, now in its third unique incarnation, that we release each year as the days shorten. His Majesty, The Fourth, is a Belgian-style strong pale ale.  A gentle (yet dangerous) giant of a beer featuring an interplay of sweet bready German malt, a hint of kiwi hops and a delicate spiced fruit from use of a Belgian Abbey yeast.
